There won't be an actual paper edition of Concord's newspaper this week. It will only be available online this week at http://www.cunewspaper.com
The following message is from Wendy Holdren, Concordian Editor-in-Chief:
I would like to apologize to all Concordian readers - due to technical difficulties, we will not have a print edition this week. A power surge destroyed our master computer's power supply. Hopefully everything will be up-and-running by next week.
For this week, our online edition has been updated. Please visit our website at www.cunewspaper.com. Feel free to comment.
Once again, I apologize for this week's edition.
- Wendy Holdren, Editor-in-Chief
The following quote comes from Concordian advisor Lindsey Mullins' Facebook page -
Okay confirmed... the Concordian computer is fried thanks to a power-surge yesterday.
I also sent out the following Tweet, along with a picture of the desk where the computer used to sit -
http://znl.me/H1DVX Computer in Concordian office is gone. I don't think it's ever coming back. Only an online paper this week.
The computer in question was delivered to The Concordian in the spring of 2005 and first saw use in the fall of 2005. It had a good 4-year run.
Check out the paper online at http://www.cunewspaper.com. All of this week's stories should be uploaded onto the site by late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
I don't really have many details at the moment. Hopefully everything will be straightened out in the next week or two. Until then, bear with us and check out the newspaper online.
